We all know how popular tattoos are these days… Nearly everyone we know has one two or even three or more.
I myself have 4!
But what about Cosmetic Tattooing? Cosmetic Tattooing is also known as micropigmentation or permanent make-up.
Cosmetic tattooing can be used for eyeliner, lip liner and it can also be used for more serious applications such as improving the site of a nipple after breast reconstruction.
It is pretty much the same as getting a permanent body tattoo – using a hollow vibrating needle the technician applies pigment into the top layer of the skin.
Each time the needle penetrates the skin a droplet of pigment is released into the hole in the skin that the needle has made, creating a shading or colouring to define that particular area.
After this it takes about 3 weeks for the permanent colour to come about.
The most important aspect of this procedure is proper sterilization, techniques, and licensing.

Thank you for the info! And yes, more than any thing else, the most important of all is proper technique and sterilization and these are for sure done by licensed clinics and professionals.
