Electrolysis sounds a little scary doesn’t it? Really it’s just a form of hair removal that has been used for the past 140 years!
The way it works is a fine needle is inserted into the hair shaft and a small electric current, radio wave or heat is passed down the needle to kill the root of the hair so it wont grow back with the same force.
For the electrolysis to take full effect you will have to go back for several visits. To remove the hair permanently will vary from person to person, so the amount of visits will vary also. But each treatment usually lasts no longer than 15 minutes.
Also did you know someone who performs electrolysis is called a electrologist.
As with every non-invasive and cosmetic procedure it is super important to find a properly trained electrologist. Some one who has the correct licensing for the area they are practicing in and uses the correct technique.
The electrologists in our directory have all had the right training with the correct qualifications. So take a look through but also make sure you ask around as that’s always a good way to find the right practitioner for you.

Awesome information! I was actually hesitant about this procedure before. But now that you’ve explained it well, then I am convinced to try it out and will check your directory to find the right electrologist near my area. Thanks!
