Electrolysis is a form of hair removal that has been used for over 140 years. A fine needle is inserted into the hair shaft and a small electric current, radio wave or heat is passed down the needle to kill the root of the hair so it does not grow back with the same force.

After several electrolysis hair removal treatments the hair just gives up and completely dies, leaving the skin permanently hairless.

There are a number of different types of Electrolysis, which are all explained here on the The Aesthetic Collective page along with recommendations, advice, tips, links and a list of electrolysis professionals for you to consider.
